Manchester United are just days away from beginning their preparation for the upcoming 2025\/26 campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no denying that last season was a huge disappointment for Manchester United<\/a> after losing the Europa League final<\/a> and finishing 15th in the Premier League table.<\/p>\n

It is now down to Ruben Amorim<\/a> and his staff to get the squad ready for a new campaign, where there will be huge pressure to bounce back.<\/p>\n

United start the season against Arsenal<\/a> in their opening fixture, but before that, Amorim and his players have a full pre-season schedule<\/a> to look forward to.<\/p>\n

Amorim has set strict deadlines for pre-season<\/a> and players are currently enjoying their final few days on holiday before returning to Carrington.<\/p>\n

With United not in the Fifa Club World Cup, the Red Devils can enjoy an uninterrupted summer of preparation.<\/p>\n

As per the official club website<\/a>, United players are scheduled to return to Carrington on July 7th to begin training.<\/p>\n

There will then be 12 days before United\u2019s first friendly against Leeds United<\/a> in Stockholm. After returning from America, Amorim\u2019s side will play one final friendly against Fiorentina at Old Trafford a week before the Premier League begins on the 17th of August.<\/p>\n

Man United players will return to refurbished Carrington<\/p>\n

United\u2019s pre-season will see the side travel to Sweden and the United States having already toured Asia in the post-season, but the summer preparations begin at Carrington.<\/p>\n

However, there will be a new look to the training facilities when players return this summer following the \u00a350m \u2018Project Avalon\u2019 refurbishments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Part of the renovation includes a new players\u2019 gym and preparation space, medical facilities, nutrition provision, and rest and recuperation areas.<\/p>\n

Carrington was blasted by Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> for being out of date but investment from Sir Jim Ratcliffe has allowed for a full makeover of the training facilities.<\/p>\n
