Leeds United could sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Whites are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements as they try to stay in the Premier League<\/a> after securing promotion. <\/p>\n There are doubts over Joel Piroe\u2019s inexperience in the top-flight<\/a> and the likes of Mateo Joseph and Patrick Bamford could be heading for an exit. <\/p>\n The Toffees star could be on the agenda as he has a wealth of experience in the division and he is available on a free transfer from 1 July.<\/p>\n The Elland Road<\/a> outfit have entered the race to sign Everton star Calvert-Lewin as they search for a new forward.<\/p>\n A report from the i<\/a> (24 June) claims that Leeds have made contact over a move for the former England star, with his Blues contract set to expire.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n It states that nothing has progressed past an initial phone call at the moment, and the 28-year-old is yet to make a decision on his future, but the smart money is on a move abroad.<\/p>\n Daniel Farke<\/a>\u2018s side needs top-flight experience, and Calvert-Lewin boasts plenty, even if injury issues have frustrated him in recent seasons. <\/p>\n He has only featured in more than 26 league games once in the previous four seasons, so his fitness would be a concern, but his knowledge of the division could prove invaluable.<\/p>\n The Toffees forward has notched 57 goals and 18 assists in 239 appearances at the elite level, which is not a terrible record by any means. <\/p>\n If he is brought to LS11, he cannot be the only forward that is signed; that would be negligent. The Peacocks also need to sign someone like Nikola Krstovic<\/a> or Rodrigo Muniz, who will play more regularly.<\/p>\n Calvert-Lewin would be a solid impact player when he is fit, though, and could even forge a starting role and banish his injury problems in a new surrounding.<\/p>\n He would provide the Whites with an aerial threat and the ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play around him, and could prove to be a solid addition as long as he is not the only attacker to arrive.<\/p>\n![\"Mateo](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Mateo-Joseph-Leeds-United-1024x576.jpg\")
