Billionaire Michael Bloomberg has told an audience in Dublin that Brexit was the single stupidest thing any country has ever done, adding that \u201cit\u2019s hard to believe how they did it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Bloomberg was addressing a conference entitled \u2018The Bloomberg Advantage: Future of Finance in Ireland\u2019 which was held in Bloomberg\u2019s Dublin offices.<\/p>\n

\u201cIreland has benefited from Brexit<\/strong>,\u201d Mr Bloomberg said.<\/p>\n

He also made reference to the economic relationship between Ireland and the US.<\/p>\n

\u201cIreland is now writing a new chapter in its history, and the roles are being increasingly reversed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIreland is the one that\u2019s growing, and America is the one that\u2019s worried about growth,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
