<\/p>\nA van outside King’s Cross station burst into flames this morning, causing disruption for commuters.<\/p>\n
Emergency services attended the scene on Euston Road between King’s Cross and adjacent St Pancras. <\/p>\n
While bus detours are currently in place, there are no rail disruptions from either station.<\/p>\n
London North Eastern Railway confirmed that one entrance to the station has been closed in response to the incident.<\/p>\n
A spokesman said: “Due to reports of a fire on the road between London Kings Cross and London St Pancras, the West entrance to Kings Cross Station has been temporarily closed.”<\/p>\n
A London Fire Brigade spokesman told GB News: “We were called to one van alight outside St Pancras train station on Midland Road. <\/p>\n
“We were called at 1017 and the incident was under control by 11.01am<\/p>\n
“The van was completely destroyed by the blaze. <\/p>\n

“Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Kentish Town fire station were at the scene.<\/p>\n
“Our 999 Brigade Control officers received eight calls alerting them to the fire.”<\/p>\n
Bus routes 46, and 214 are currently being diverted around Pancras Road.<\/p>\n
It is understood the fire is being treated as accidental.<\/p>\n
Two fire engines were seen at the scene after at least eight calls by members of the public were made.<\/p>\n
GB News understands the road was reopened shortly after the fire was extinguished.<\/p>\n
Approximately 72.1 million people pass through King’s Cross St. Pancras station annually, making it the busiest station on the London Underground network.<\/p>\n
