{"id":211408,"date":"2025-06-24T21:34:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-24T21:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/211408\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T21:34:08","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T21:34:08","slug":"canadas-oil-sands-production-set-for-record-high-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/211408\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada\u2019s Oil Sands Production Set for Record High in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"speakable\">Despite lower oil prices, Canada\u2019s oil sands production is expected to reach an annual all-time high of 3.5 million barrels per day (bpd) this year, thanks to optimization and efficiency at producing assets, S&amp;P Global Commodity Insights <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/canadian-oil-sands-production-expected-to-reach-all-time-highs-this-year-despite-lower-oil-prices-302488676.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> on Tuesday in its latest outlook.<\/p>\n<p>Output from Canada\u2019s oil sands will continue to rise beyond this year, according to S&amp;P Global Commodity Insights\u2019 10-year production outlook.<\/p>\n<p>This year, production is set for a record annual average of 3.5 million bpd, up by 5% compared to the 2024 output, while oil sands volumes are expected to top 3.9 million bpd by 2030, per S&amp;P Global Commodity Insights.
