<\/p>\nActress Rachel Zegler has spoken about the \u201creally alarming\u201d online abuse she has received following her role in Disney\u2019s live\u2011action Snow White.<\/p>\n
The 24\u2011year\u2011old star has been criticised both for her portrayal in the film and for making political statements online, including her support for Palestine and past remarks about US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n
In an interview with i\u2011D, Zegler said she has refused to adopt a \u201cvictim mindset\u201d despite the online attacks. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really alarming at times,\u201d she stated. \u201cI think a victim mindset is a choice, and I don\u2019t choose it. I also don\u2019t choose nastiness in the face of it. I don\u2019t choose negativity. I choose positivity and light and happiness. <\/p>\n

Zegler\u2019s support for Palestine has also drawn online scrutiny. <\/p>\n
In one post in August 2024, while thanking fans for watching the Snow White trailer, she added, \u201cand always remember, free Palestine\u201d – a remark that sparked further criticism, with some seeing it as a snub to her Israeli co-star Gal Gadot.<\/p>\n
