Almost a year after laying off its entire workforce<\/a> and filing for bankruptcy, Stages Cycling is officially back. Now under the ownership of SPIA Cycling Inc<\/a>, a subsidiary of the Giant Group, the power meter pioneer has relaunched its retail business, claiming a renewed focus on innovation, rider support, and performance-led design.<\/p>\n

Known for bringing single-sided power meters into the mainstream, Stages helped define a category that made power measurement more accessible and affordable. The relaunched brand retains its core lineup of crankarm-based power meters \u2013 the original left-only (L), as well as R (right side), and dual-sided (LR) options \u2013 now updated for the latest Shimano cranksets, including XTR M9200 and XT8200. These will debut this week at Eurobike in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n
