\n He shared his experiences as a teen in sport and discussed how he deals with setbacks.\n<\/p>\n
\n He also talked about his 2023 world championship fight against Laurence Okolie.\n<\/p>\n
\n Year six pupil Poppy asked about his entrance music, and he revealed that he chose Adele’s Hometown Glory\u00a0because it ‘fit the moment perfectly’.\n<\/p>\n

\n He cited Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Gennady Golovkin for their sporting skill and public conduct.\n<\/p>\n
\n Gemma Sutter, principal of Manorside Academy, said: “The children were so excited.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It was great to hear Chris talk about our school values of respect, kindness and resilience and relate them to his own success.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The visit also marked the launch of a new boxing initiative across the trust’s schools.\n<\/p>\n
\n The trust aims to train 24 coaches to deliver boxing lessons in its 13 academies.\n<\/p>\n
\n Chris Billam-Smith said: “I really enjoyed meeting the children; they had some very thought-provoking questions.\n<\/p>\n
