The incident happened in north Belfast.<\/p>\n

Two people have escaped serious injury during a house fire in north Belfast. <\/p>\n

Police are investigating the cause of the blaze which broke out in the early hours of this morning in the Silverstream Drive area. <\/p>\n

PSNI Inspector Hamilton said officers were alerted to the incident at around 2am. <\/p>\n

\u201cOfficers along with other emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n

\u201cTwo people, who were in the property at the time were treated at the scene by colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with the investigation to contact police on 101 quoting reference 76 25\/06\/25.<\/p>\n
