{"id":212829,"date":"2025-06-25T09:55:12","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T09:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/212829\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T09:55:12","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T09:55:12","slug":"three-is-down-mobile-network-crashes-leaving-thousands-of-frustrated-brits-unable-to-make-or-receive-calls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/212829\/","title":{"rendered":"Three is DOWN: Mobile network crashes &#8211; leaving thousands of frustrated Brits unable to make or receive calls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"author-section byline-plain\">By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/profile-703\/wiliam-hunter.html\" class=\"author\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WILIAM HUNTER<\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"byline-section\"> Published:  05:17 EDT, 25 June 2025   |  Updated:  05:46 EDT, 25 June 2025   <\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">It is one of the most popular mobile networks in the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But Three Mobile UK now appears to be down in an <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/tech-outages\/index.html\" id=\"mol-16310390-51a5-11f0-98b5-b7a45434fa56\" rel=\"noopener\">outage<\/a> which has affected thousands of Britons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">According to Down Detector, issues began shortly after 08:00 BST, peaking at over 9,300 reports.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">According to customer reports, 79 per cent of affected users are unable to make voice calls with a further 17 per cent unable to access phone signal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The outage is also affecting the ID Mobile and Smarty networks, which are owned by Three Mobile.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">There are currently 822 reports of service disruptions for Smarty and 1,900 outage reports for ID Mobile in Down Detector.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, Three UK wrote: &#8216;We&#8217;re aware of an issue affecting voice services and are working hard to fix it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;Data services are working normally. I have a young child who is ill, and had to get him out of bed this morning and drive to our doctors surgery because I couldn&#8217;t call them! I&#8217;m also missing out on work!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Another chimed in: &#8216;My girlfriend is awaiting a call back from the doctors.
