The new mosaic piece will be unveiled to the public outside Afflecks in the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/best-things-to-do-in-northern-quarter\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/best-things-to-do-in-northern-quarter\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_0\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Northern Quarter<\/a> at <strong>midday on July 1<\/strong> to officially mark the start of Oasis season and to commemorate the band reuniting on home soil later that month.<\/p>\n<p>Taking its place on the wall outside the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/shopping-centres-manchester\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretmanchester.com\/shopping-centres-manchester\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_internal\">shopping<\/a> emporium on Tib Street as part of the<strong> world famous mosaic wall<\/strong>, the mural joins the display of existing artworks by Mark Kennedy featuring legendary faces associated with the city including <strong>Eric Cantona, Karl Marx, Morrissey, Emmeline Pankhurst and Ian Brown<\/strong> amongst others. <strong>Mark Kennedy<\/strong>, mosaic artist, summed up the mosaic: \u201cThe space on the mosaic wall couldn\u2019t be for anyone else. It had to be Liam and Noel.
