The Welsh team, owned by Ryan Reynolds<\/a> and Rob McElhenney<\/a>, are preparing for Championship<\/a> football next season after achieving an incredible third consecutive promotion<\/a> in April. Wrexham<\/a> have already been connected with numerous big names this summer as they aim to strengthen their squad, including Leicester legend Jamie Vardy<\/a> and Fulham captain Tom Cairney<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bamford is also said to be on the club’s radar<\/a>, and a favourable development has now arisen which could pave the way for the forward, who has one England<\/a> cap, to make the move to North Wales. While their initial attempt to sign the Brazilian was unsuccessful, it could signal the end of Bamford’s tenure at Elland Road in the long term, with a host of new signings expected this summer and the club clearly targeting a new striker.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old has another year remaining on his contract, but may be permitted to depart after struggling with fitness last season.
