Co Financial Planning has been named a finalist in the Charity Champions of the Year category at the Money Marketing Awards 2025.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Based in Wroughton, the firm specialises in helping individuals, families, and small business owners manage their wealth across Swindon and North Wiltshire.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Dave Southby, founder of Southby &amp; Co, said: &#8220;Being shortlisted for the Money Marketing Community Champion award means so much to me and the team.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;One of our values is to support our local community and charity partners, so to be recognised nationally for the work, within our industry, is incredible.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Charity Champion of the Year category honours businesses that raise awareness and funds for charities through outstanding social impact.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Southby &amp; Co\u2019s charitable work includes long-standing support for Wroughton Youth FC, as well as sponsorship of the Wroughton Tornados and Wroughton Witches football teams.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In 2025, the firm will continue supporting the Kelly Foundation, its 2024 Charity of the Year, and will also back CALM (Children\u2019s Cancer &amp; Leukaemia Movement), the Swindon Toy Appeal, and Avon Needs Trees, which works to create permanent woodland across the South West.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Mr Southby said: &#8220;Being a supporter of local charities is a huge part of our business.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;For us, it is about engaging with our community and making life easier for those in need and improving the place in which we live.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;To be nominated in this category is such a boost and I am so glad the Money Marketing Awards is putting charity work at the heart of our industry.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Hopefully, this will encourage other companies to do the same.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Money Marketing Awards celebrate excellence across the UK financial services sector, bringing together hundreds of advisors and industry leaders.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  This year\u2019s ceremony will take place at The Londoner Hotel in London\u2019s West End on Thursday, September 11.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Tom Browne, editor of Money Marketing, said: &#8220;We are excited to welcome the Southby &amp;
