A teenage rape victim was told “that is what white girls are for” when she was abused, Sheffield Crown Court has heard.<\/p>\n

Three men are on trial accused of raping the girl, who was around 14 years old at the time of the alleged offences between 1999 and 2002 in Rotherham.<\/p>\n

Sageer Hussain, 39, Kessur Ajaib, 43, and Mohammed Makhmood, 43, all deny the charges against them.<\/p>\n

Prosecutor Andrew Bailey told the jury the complainant, now in her late 30s, was an “immature and vulnerable young girl” when she began spending time at a youth club in the town.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor said the girl met Ajaib at the youth club, where he began sexually assaulting her after hearing she had engaged in consensual sex with a boy her own age.<\/p>\n

Bailey told the court that Ajaib, then around 18, saw this as a “green light” and told her “now she needed to come to try somebody real”.<\/p>\n

The defendant also allegedly raped her in an alleyway.<\/p>\n

Makhmood, who was about 18 or 19 at the time, is accused of raping the same girl in an old graveyard in Rotherham whilst she fought against him.<\/p>\n

The court heard that Hussain later told the alleged victim she “shouldn’t have walked around in what I was dressed in”, “deserved it” and “that is what white girls were for.”<\/p>\n

Hussain is also accused of raping a second teenager in Rotherham town centre.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor said the second alleged victim described crying throughout the ordeal, whilst two others were present.<\/p>\n

When interviewed by police, Makhmood claimed it was a case of “mistaken identity” and that officers had “got the wrong man”.<\/p>\n

Hussain told police the “allegations were vindictive”, whilst Ajaib made no comment during questioning.<\/p>\n
