{"id":214464,"date":"2025-06-26T00:09:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T00:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/214464\/"},"modified":"2025-06-26T00:09:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T00:09:09","slug":"one-in-25-welsh-people-admit-to-drinking-bath-water","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/214464\/","title":{"rendered":"One in 25 Welsh people admit to drinking bath water"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  In research by bathroom manufacturer nuie, the survey of 2,000 adults revealed unusual bathroom habits across Wales.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  One in six admit to falling asleep in the bath\u2014four per cent more than the UK average\u2014while six per cent use their bathroom as a hideout from their children.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Interestingly, 15 per cent of Welsh respondents have washed clothes in the sink to save on energy costs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Exercise enthusiasts make up eight per cent, while four per cent have napped on their bathroom floor.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A further four per cent have drunk bath water.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Colm Lalor, commercial director at nuie, said: &#8220;The bathroom is a private sanctuary for Brits to be themselves.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The revelation of Wales\u2019 strangest habits only reinforces the fact that the bathroom is the most important room in the house.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Only one per cent of Welsh residents have taken a business call or practised a presentation in their bathroom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In research by bathroom manufacturer nuie, the survey of 2,000 adults revealed unusual bathroom habits across Wales.
