{"id":214578,"date":"2025-06-26T01:12:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-26T01:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/214578\/"},"modified":"2025-06-26T01:12:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-26T01:12:09","slug":"twisted-scots-care-home-worker-jailed-after-sexually-abusing-oaps-as-old-as-90","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/214578\/","title":{"rendered":"Twisted Scots care home worker jailed after sexually abusing OAPS as old as 90"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A PERVERT carer who molested three elderly men at a home has been put behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>David Hillhouse, 32, was snared after a 92-year-old victim gave a harrowing account of his ordeal to his granddaughter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Black and white photo of David Hillhouse.\" height=\"960\" width=\"354\" data-credit=\"\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/david-hillhouse-convicted-three-sex-1005409648.jpg\" data-caption=\"David Hillhouse was convicted of three sex assaults on pensioners\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/david-hillhouse-convicted-three-sex-1005409648.jpg\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>1<\/p>\n<p>David Hillhouse was convicted of three sex assaults on pensioners<\/p>\n<p>The sicko preyed on the OAP and two others aged 71 and 66 at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a> care home between 2017 and 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s sheriff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/courts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">court<\/a> was told Hillhouse committed the vile offences while cleaning intimate areas and helping the gents to the toilet. <\/p>\n<p>Prosecutor Ryan Watson said of the oldest victim, who has since died: \u201cThe man made a gesture with his hands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe asked for Hillhouse to be kept away from him. The victim\u2019s granddaughter said he was extremely upset, crying and broke down.<\/p>\n<p>READ MORE ON THE SCOTTISH SUN<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had physical ailments but there was no concern about his mental capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 71-year-old victim, now also deceased, was touched by Hillhouse while receiving help on his bed so he could do the toilet.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Watson told the court how a nurse witnessed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/assault\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">assault<\/a> after leaving a room briefly to get cleaning gear.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cShe came back and saw the man lying on his front with half of his face on a pillow. Hillhouse was stood at the side of him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was disgusted by what she saw.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The fiend had been repeatedly touching the man intimately, the court heard. <\/p>\n<p>Moment cops pepper-spray and Taser amputee, 92, who died 3 weeks after &#8216;assault&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>An ex-colleague said she saw Hillhouse assault the 66-year-old resident while giving a cleaning demonstration.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth Williams, 58, added: \u201cIt just did not seem appropriate to the job that we would be doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hillhouse, from Glasgow\u2019s Penilee area, was convicted by a jury of assaulting one man plus ill-treating and wilfully neglecting two others.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Tony Kelly deferred sentence until July and rem-anded him in custody.<\/p>\n<p>Hillhouse, who no longer works in the care sector, was put on the sex offenders list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A PERVERT carer who molested three elderly men at a home has been put behind bars.
