Pep Guardiola strongly dislikes having unhappy players at Manchester City.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spaniard has often made a point of allowing those keen to leave the Etihad Stadium<\/a> to depart without any issues, as he did in January after Kyle Walker requested a move.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola<\/a> said: \u201cHe (Walker) would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years (somewhere else) for many reasons. For that reason, I prefer playing other players whose mind is here.\u201d<\/p>\n

The same has happened with Cole Palmer \u2013 who told Manchester City he wanted to go<\/a> after being informed a loan exit was not an option.<\/p>\n

Another player in Callum Doyle<\/a> has already asked for a \u201cpermanent\u201d move away from Manchester City<\/a> when speaking to The Pink Un in May \u2013 but will surely be frustrated at the Citizens after a \u00a36.5m bid from Hoffenheim was just rejected.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/a> now state that the Bundesliga side have seen a \u00a36.5m bid rejected for the England U21 international, which feels like a reasonable offer for a player Guardiola left out of his squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.<\/p>\n

However, Manchester City disagree, and now risk annoying the 21-year-old.<\/p>\n

Doyle said he wanted to leave<\/a> permanently in May after four consecutive loan spells at Sunderland, Coventry, Leicester and Norwich, admitting: \u201cI think (a permanent move) is the next aim. It\u2019s my fourth loan. I\u2019ve been all over the country. I\u2019ve got nothing to say bad about this club (Norwich). I love it. I\u2019ve loved playing here. The fans are great, so you never know (about a return). It just depends on what happens in the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

A move to the Bundesliga, where other young English talents such as Jadon Sancho have thrived, would represent an exciting, fresh start for Doyle where he can focus on fulfilling his vast potential.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the fact Manchester City have rejected the bid \u2013 it remains to be seen if Hoffenheim improve their offer \u2013 will irk the defender, who is surely starting to wonder if he is to get his desired permanent move away this summer.<\/p>\n

Manchester City should listen to Pep Guardiola and take the money<\/p>\n

Guardiola said he wanted a smaller squad just a matter of weeks ago, even threatening to leave if Manchester City did not trim the playing staff.<\/p>\n

The 54-year-old said: \u201cAs a manager I cannot train 24 players and every time I select I have to have four, five, six stay in Manchester at home because they cannot play. This is not going to happen. I said to the club, I don\u2019t want that.\u201d<\/p>\n
