\n The academy offers a structured path to becoming a Chartered Financial Planner, bypassing the university route.\n<\/p>\n
\n Poole’s Chloe Blackmore, 19, is the first trainee.\n<\/p>\n
\n She joins after an internship at the firm during her T-Levels in accounting and finance at Poole High School.\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Blackmore said: “From the beginning, I knew Baggette + Co was different.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It’s like a family.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Everyone knows each other and genuinely wants you to succeed.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Jo Hjalmas, managing director, said: “We want to continually attract talented people from different backgrounds and pathways \u2013 people who are empathetic, ethical, and passionate about helping others.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Chloe absolutely embodies that, and we\u2019re proud she\u2019s the first part of the Financial Advisers Development Academy.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Ms Blackmore’s choice to pursue financial planning is significant, as only 16 per cent of UK financial advisers are women.\n<\/p>\n
\n She said: “There are so few visible female IFAs.\n<\/p>\n
\n “If I can inspire even one more person to consider a career as a financial adviser \u2013 especially another young woman \u2013 I\u2019ll be over the moon.”\n<\/p>\n
