But, Celtic appear unlikely to reignite talks this summer, despite earlier interest.<\/p>\n

In January, the Parkhead side were reportedly poised to submit a seven-figure bid, potentially up to \u00a35 million<\/a>, to bring the 22-year-old winger to Glasgow as a replacement for Kyogo<\/a> Furuhashi. Negotiations were undertaken<\/a>, and Barry was even offered a new contract by Villa, but ultimately the deal fell through. Aston Villa weren\u2019t keen to sell the player either. It\u2019s not leaving them a lot of time to get a deal done.<\/p>\n

HullLive\u00a0<\/a>reports that Villa are prepared to sell the striker, who spent the season out on loan, before Monday, in the hope that they fall on the right side of the strict PSR regulations.<\/p>\n

Now, for Celtic, attention has already shifted elsewhere. Callum Osmand is set to join the club this summer. Sources suggest a medical has been completed and a deal is also been agreed.<\/p>\n
