Infrastructure services and engineering company Amey has been awarded a place on Translink\u2019s Professional Services Framework, a four-year, \u00a340 million programme designed to enhance infrastructure across Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n
Translink is the integrated public transport in Northern Ireland, encompassing bus and rail services.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As one of four appointed suppliers, Amey will apply its industry-leading systems thinking approach to deliver end-to-end engineering solutions across potential contracts secured under this framework. Services provided on behalf of Translink will include strategic site surveys, new infrastructure design, civil and structural engineering.<\/p>\n
Amey says this new framework appointment further builds on its growing presence in Northern Ireland and its longstanding partnership with the Department of Infrastructure (DfI) dating back to 2005. The company recently announced a number of key strategic contract wins with the department including a \u00a330m engineering services consultancy partner contract with its Rivers division as well as a \u00a335m engineering services consultancy contract with its Transport and Road Asset Management (TRAM) branch.<\/p>\n
The news also follows a successful period of framework appointments with Amey recently securing a spot on the Network Rail Development and Design Partnership Framework (DDPF) to deliver a range of infrastructure services including professional development, design and technical support to connect people, businesses, and communities in the north of England.<\/p>\n
