‘Fit and healthy’ Edinburgh dad given ‘aggressive’ diagnosis after doctor neighbour noticed signs<\/a><\/p>\nThey said: “On Glasgow Road at the traffic lights outside a car showroom it looks like a young boy has been struck by by a large car.<\/p>\n
“Three police motorcycles, a police van and ambulance are at the scene. The boy looked around ten and crying although no one seemed to be badly injured as they were all standing.”<\/p>\n
Police confirmed there were no reports of serious injuries and the driver was issued a conditional offer in connection with a road traffic offence.<\/p>\n
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAround 5.20pm on Wednesday, 25 June, 2025, we were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a 12-year-old boy who was riding a bike in the Glasgow Road area of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
\u201cEmergency services attended and there were no reports of any serious injuries. The driver of the car was issued with a conditional offer in connection with a road traffic offence.\u201d<\/p>\n
