The 47 year old ex-glamour model opted for a transparent ensemble for her selfie session.<\/p>\n

She took to her social media to share pictures of herself revelling in the Dubai sunshine, donning a revealing outfit.<\/p>\n

Flaunting her ink-adorned body in a white crochet dress with a large cut out section in the middle, some of her fans were left underwhelmed.<\/p>\n

Katie’s <\/a>choice of clothing seemed to suggest she wasn’t wearing much underneath while snapping photos in the mirror.<\/p>\n

The controversy surrounding her apparel arises as Dubai staunchly observes Islamic traditions.<\/p>\n

Visitors are encouraged to dress conservatively out of respect for the local customs and culture.<\/p>\n

One follower sarcastically remarked on her Facebook post: “I didn’t realize in Dubai you could walk around like that I always thought Dubai had a strict clothes policy. I must have got that wrong !”, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another was unequivocally irate, stating plainly: “You’d be arrested for wearing that in dubai.”<\/p>\n

A third chimed in: “That outfit is totally disrespectful! ! ,” and a fourth observed: “She is a bit under dressed, respect the country your in.”<\/p>\n

Yet another commenter suggested Katie was flirting with danger, saying: “She’ll be arrested going out in dubai dressed like that! !”<\/p>\n

This sentiment was mirrored by another who added: “Don’t think that’s appropriate for Dubai could end up in jail.”<\/p>\n
