Jake Paul<\/a> and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr<\/a> are just days away from their intriguing cruiserweight showdown.<\/p>\n

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul locks horns with former WBC world middleweight champion Chavez<\/a> on Saturday June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.<\/p>\n

Paul has not fought since he got the better of 58-year-old heavyweight legend Mike Tyson<\/a>, defeating the former undisputed champion via unanimous decision at the conclusion of their controversial bout at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15.<\/p>\n

Another opponent that \u2018The Problem Child\u2019 has prevailed against is MMA legend Anderson Silva, who made the transition into boxing after a glittering career in the UFC.<\/p>\n

Paul floored Silva in the final round of their bout in 2022 before being declared the winner via unanimous decision in what was the American\u2019s sixth professional outing.<\/p>\n

Just 18 months prior to his showdown with Paul, Silva faced Chavez in a light-heavyweight showdown, defeating the former middleweight champion via split decision in what was considered to be an upset victory for the Brazilian.<\/p>\n

After facing both Paul and Chavez since he transitioned into the sport, Silva\u2019s son Gabriel Silva revealed in an interview with ESNEWS<\/a> that his father is backing the 39-year-old Mexican to be victorious.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s definitely going for Chavez.<\/p>\n

It all depends on which Chavez we\u2019re going to get on the night of the fight. If he\u2019s going to be focused or if he\u2019s been lacking around.<\/p>\n

From what I heard he\u2019s been training at Mayweather\u2019s gym, I know a lot of those guys in there. So you can never count that out, I don\u2019t even know if he\u2019s ever been dropped, a guy like Jake might not have it to put him out.
