Luke Keary has opened up on how disappointing the last couple of months at Catalans Dragons have been after seeing their form slip away<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dragons have now lost seven straight games in all competitions, with that run of form seeing them plummet down the Super League table and exit the Challenge Cup. Steve McNamara lost his job three games into that run, too, with Joel Tomkins overseeing the last four games.<\/p>\n

Those games haven\u2019t been pretty, with Catalans scoring just 18 points and conceding 176. However, they\u2019ll see an opportunity to get back to winning ways this weekend when they take on Huddersfield Giants at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.<\/p>\n

The Dragons<\/a> showed a degree of progress in their loss to Leigh Leopards last time out and they\u2019ll be keen to build on that by securing the result that can act as a catalyst over the second half of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been real disappointed obviously the last couple of months,\u201d Keary said during a press conference this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a really good period there just before the Challenge Cup and spent a lot of time in England but as a team we fell off the cliff from where we should be and we\u2019re working really hard to get back there.<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cWe\u2019ve been working really hard and training really hard over the last month so hopefully slowly that translates onto the field.\u201d<\/p>\n

Catalans Dragons strive to get back to winning ways<\/p>\n

Huddersfield arrive in Perpignan in a good spot having seen off the challenge of Warrington Wolves last time out. Luke Robinson\u2019s side went within a couple of minutes of beating Wigan Warriors the week prior, too, and despite losing Adam Clune for the season last week, their tails will be up.<\/p>\n

Previewing this week\u2019s contest, Keary added: \u201cWe need a win for us as a club and the fans and we\u2019re still in there, we\u2019re still in with a shot, we have to win a lot of our games coming home but there\u2019s a lot of belief in the group and it starts this weekend<\/p>\n

\u201cWe played them at Huddersfield earlier in the year and they had a lot of players out, they have a lot of players back now and they\u2019re going to be tough. They probably should have beat Wigan a couple of weeks ago, they beat Warrington at Warrington. We know it\u2019s going to be a tough challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n
