An urgent search has been launched to find a schoolboy who was reported as missing in Wigan<\/a> on Thursday (June 26).<\/p>\n

Jax, whose surname was not disclosed by police, was last seen at 7.30am in Leigh, on Hendon Street. The 12-year-old is thought to be wearing his school uniform.<\/p>\n

An urgent appeal has been launched by Greater Manchester Police<\/a>, along with a picture of Jax in a desperate search to find him.<\/p>\n

He is described as a white male, around 5ft tall, of a small build and with dark hair which is longer on the top. He was last seen in his school uniform and also wearing a Montirex jacket, GMP said.<\/p>\n

Officers want to make sure he is safe and well and are becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ about his welfare.<\/p>\n
