Returning to regular training sessions every other Sunday, the team have also travelled around the country taking part in tournaments and festivals.<\/p>\n

This included the Wooden Spoon festival in Coventry and playing on the pitch at the 2025 Gallagher Premiership Final, as part of Project Rugby.<\/p>\n

The programme has also seen a number of generous acts from our club partners. Samworth Brothers donated an array of snacks to the\u00a0team ahead of a Tag Rugby festival in June, while alongside\u00a0sponsoring the programme, Dyno-Rod recently held\u00a0a special session at\u00a0Mattioli\u00a0Woods Welford Road, with Jack van Poortvliet<\/a> and Freddie Steward<\/a> in attendance to\u00a0award the participants with\u00a0medals to celebrate the\u00a0end of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Finally, off the pitch, club partner\u00a0PPL PRS<\/a>\u00a0took members of the Down Syndrome\u00a0team to a special event in March.<\/p>\n

Alongside several senior men’s players, the team enjoyed a bumper day out, meeting, interacting and petting a range of farm animals.<\/p>\n

Although the season has ended for 2024\/25, the programme is set to enter it’s third year this coming September. Keep an eye on our social channels and LeicesterTigers.com for more information.<\/p>\n
