HERE<\/a><\/p>\nA small can of water is \u00a32.50 but a bottle of water at the Village Inn will cost you a staggering \u00a37.50.<\/p>\n
Fans, who have already spend hundreds of pounds on tickets, have taken to social media to complain about the shocking prices.<\/p>\n
One user on X said: “Imagine paying over \u00a3300 for Glastonbury tickets to be told it\u2019s a further \u00a332 for an \u00a38 bottle of wine. Don\u2019t give festivals your coin it\u2019s a proper scam.”<\/p>\n
Another said: “\u00a32.50 for a can of water is criminal. Glad they prioritised people\u2019s health with \u00a37.50 bottles of water.”<\/p>\n
One claimed: “Drink prices at events these days are ridiculous. They\u2019ve basically doubled in about 4 years.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m taking multiple cool boxes and frozen water bottles and will buy extra ice on Sunday. Last year only bought 3 drinks and had coldies all festie. No queues either!”<\/p>\n
However, some people posting on social media seemed to think the prices were more reasonable than others.<\/p>\n
One said: “It\u2019s just the same as in any city centre bar.”<\/p>\n
Another joked: “Well it’s cheaper than a pint in London. So technically, I’m winning.”<\/p>\n
Some 200,000 music lovers are set to descend on Worthy Farm, Somerset, as the annual festival kicks off on Wednesday, June 25, lasting until Sunday, June 29.<\/p>\n
Headliners for the 2025 edition include Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, Rod Stewart and Neil Young, while other acts to feature include Brat icon Charli XCX, rapper Doechii, R&B singer Jorja Smith among many other huge names.<\/p>\n
