Coronation Street has confirmed Gary Windass<\/a>\u2019 (Mikey North<\/a>) whereabouts after the character seemingly vanished into thin air.<\/p>\n The character said he was heading off on a trip to Durham<\/a> to visit mum Anna (Debbie Rush), but hasn\u2019t been seen since.<\/a><\/p>\n His brief holiday took place after an eventful few weeks, having found himself caught between wife Maria Connor<\/a> (Samia Longchambon<\/a>) and dangerous Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty).<\/p>\n Lou developed quite the crush on Gary, attempting to kiss him and incriminating messages to herself from his phone. The blackmail got the better of him<\/a> and he fled.<\/p>\n Since then, he\u2019s failed to return to Weatherfield.<\/p>\n Maria\u2019s only contact will be a message saying he\u2019s stopping off to see a mate, but by next week, there\u2019s still no sign of him.<\/p>\n In upcoming scenes, Liam<\/a>\u2019s (Charlie Wrenshall<\/a>) birthday, and as his mum and uncle Kirk (Andrew Whyment<\/a>) gift him his presents, they all begin to ponder where Gary has gone.<\/p>\n Little do they realise, he\u2019s actually in a coma and fighting for his life<\/a> \u2013 just around the corner at Weathy General.<\/p>\n But how did he end up in this situation?<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t We\u2019ll see desperate Maria report him as a missing person to Kit Green<\/a> (Jacob Roberts<\/a>), who then learns about an unidentified patient. <\/p>\n He\u2019s sure that it isn\u2019t Gary, but it becomes clear that his attacker is going to extreme lengths to conceal their crime and cover their tracks.
