The wait is finally over for Lana Del Rey fans<\/a> as the star is set to appear on stage at Anfield<\/a> Stadium on Saturday, June 28, for the first time ever. Despite it being the Born to Die singer’s first time on stage at the ground, it is not her first visit to the home of the Reds, following a trip to Anfield more than a decade ago.<\/p>\n

Lana last visited Anfield in 2013 when she met then captain Steven Gerrard<\/a>. She came to Liverpool to watch Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur, revealing on a pre-match guided tour of the ground that it was her first time at Anfield.<\/a> Lana also performed a version of You\u2019ll Never Walk Alone for a documentary to mark the club\u2019s Premier League<\/a> title win in 2020.<\/p>\n

The Summmertime Sadness<\/a> singer will perform at Anfield as part of a short tour of UK and Ireland, with a seven date run. The multi-platinum-selling superstar will take to the stage on Saturday, June 28, before her next appearance in Dublin at the Aviva Stadium on June 30.<\/p>\n

Doors to Anfield Stadium are scheduled to open at 5pm – but eager fans are expected to queue outside the ground hours before gates open to try and secure their place at the front of the crowd.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Club confirmed to the ECHO this morning that the stage times will be as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

5pm: Doors open<\/p>\n

7.15pm-8pm: BANKS<\/p>\n

8.30pm-10pm: Lana Del Rey<\/p>\n

11pm: Curfew<\/p>\n

Banks is an American singer and songwriter who is currently promoting the release of her fifth studio album Off with Her Head, which was released on February 28, 2025. The album is a mixture of alternative pop and R&B. Three singles from the album were released prior to its release date, including I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend, which features Grammy Award winner Doechii.<\/p>\n

Lana’s setlist for the show could be subject to change from her previous UK appearances – especially given her strong bond with Liverpool FC and her previous cover of You’ll Never Walk Alone.<\/p>\n

However, fans will be trying to glean what they can from her previous setlists in order to try and guess what they could be in store for tonight.<\/p>\n

This is the 17-song setlist from the first night of the tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium:<\/p>\n

    The setlist remained unchanged for her show at Hampden Park in Glasgow on Thursday, June 26.<\/p>\n

    In WalesOnline’s review of the opening night, Lois McCarthy wrote: “The show was full of twists and surprises, and I never quite knew what to expect next, which perfectly mirrored how I felt walking into the concert.<\/p>\n

    “Lana may have seemed a bit nervous at the start, but as the set went on, she truly found her stride. Her storytelling was nothing short of masterful, and her voice\u2014honestly\u2014remains top-tier.”<\/p>\n

    Meanwhile the NME said she “delivered a stunning show that was exactly on her own terms and proved she\u2019s more than a natural fit for such massive venues.”<\/p>\n

    The Guardian’s Huw Baines<\/a> said: “There aren\u2019t many stadium spectacles driven by the gut-level understanding found in Del Rey\u2019s plea to the room during a mesmerising Did You Know That There\u2019s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd: ‘Don\u2019t forget me.’ Not a chance.”<\/p>\n

    After her Anfield show, the star will play three more dates in the UK, with an appearance in Dublin on June 30 and two shows at Wembley on July 3 and 4, before returning to the US for a show in Saint Charles.
