{"id":21820,"date":"2025-04-15T11:12:11","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T11:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/21820\/"},"modified":"2025-04-15T11:12:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-15T11:12:11","slug":"11-bristol-restaurants-shortlisted-for-deliveroo-restaurant-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/21820\/","title":{"rendered":"11 Bristol restaurants shortlisted for Deliveroo Restaurant Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Customers can vote for their favourites to be in with a chance to win \u00a3150<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0_Best-Indian-Nepalese-Rock-Salt-Bristoljpeg.jpg\" alt=\"Rock Salt has been shortlisted for Best Indian &amp; Nepalese restaurant\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>Rock Salt has been shortlisted for Best Indian &amp; Nepalese restaurant(Image: Deliveroo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Eleven Bristol restaurants have been shortlisted for <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/whats-on\/shopping\/morrisons-deliveroo-expand-30-minute-9490877?utm_source=mynewsassistant.com&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=embedded_search_item_desktop\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Deliveroo&#8217;s <\/a>Restaurant Awards 2025, with several awards up for grabs including Independent Restaurant of the Year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Helping judge the nominations is TV chef Gordon Ramsay&#8217;s daughter, Tilly Ramsay, but locals also get a say by being able to cast their vote from now until May.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Local food lovers can vote for their favourite nominated restaurants to have them automatically entered into the final shortlist for Independent Restaurant of the Year, which will be judged by an expert panel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Customers who vote are also automatically entered into a draw to win \u00a3150 in-app credit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Ten <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink\/here-25-bristol-restaurants-new-7327\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Bristol restaurants<\/a> are up for cuisine-based regional awards, whilst one has already been nominated for the national Independent Restaurant of the Year award.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The regional cuisine awards include Best Burger &amp; American, Best Indian &amp; Nepalese, Best Chinese, Best Pizza, Best Japanese and Best Greek.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">There are a range of Bristol restaurants on the shortlist, including Danny\u2019s Burgers, winner of Burger Chef of the Year 2021 and the UK\u2019s Best Burger in 2022, which is nominated for Best Burger &amp; American restaurant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The two Bristol restaurants on the shortlist for Best Indian &amp; Nepalese are Rock Salt and Dhamaka.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Both <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/whats-on\/food-drink\/tried-bristols-most-loved-chinese-9922406?utm_source=mynewsassistant.com&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=embedded_search_item_desktop\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Mayflower <\/a>and Dragon&#8217;s Delicacy is up for Best Chinese, whilst Yakinori and NOA Japanese UK are shortlisted for Best Japanese.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Pizza Workshop and Pizza 1889 have both been shortlisted for Best Pizza Restaurant also, and finally Taka Taka is shortlisted for Best Greek.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Bristol restaurant Oowee Diner is also up for the national Independent Restaurant of the Year Award. The description for the vegan restaurant reads: &#8220;Launching in 2016, Oowee is an American-style burger joint serving \u2018deliciously dirty\u2019 burgers. Their mission is to revolutionise fast food loved by vegans and non-vegans alike. Oowee have been serving locals via Deliveroo for over nine years, winning Deliveroo\u2019s Restaurant of the Year title in 2019.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Alongside Tilly Ramsay, the judges for Independent Restaurant of the Year are Deliveroo CEO and founder Will Shu and esteemed food critic and returning judge, Jimi Famurewa.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Speaking about judging the awards, Tilly said: &#8220;I can\u2019t wait to take my taste buds on a tour as I rate some of the most loved local eats from around the UK and Ireland as part of the Deliveroo Restaurant Awards.
