The full text is gradually being enhanced with audio versions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDiscovering the Bible in Breton has never been easier. The \u2018Reading the Bible in Breton\u2019 section allows you to browse through the Old and New Testaments, as well as the Psalms\u201d, explain the authors of the website.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Breton, a linguistic minority in France, has a new online Bible\" title=\"Breton, a linguistic minority in France, has a new online Bible\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/685d67a1a49f0_bretbib630.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The full text is gradually being enhanced with audio versions. \/\u00a0Photo:Ar Bibl e brezhoneg\u00a0website.  \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The platform will eventually include liturgical texts, as well as the catechism of the <a href=\"https:\/\/evangelicalfocus.com\/tag\/roman_catholicism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roman Catholic<\/a> church.<\/p>\n<p>Until now, the Bible in Breton was only available online in the YouVersion website and application. Koad 21, a revision in modern Breton, was published in paper format in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Breton, a linguistic minority in France, has a new online Bible\" title=\"Breton, a linguistic minority in France, has a new online Bible\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/685e5fcac8524_ghenesisbretonCropped.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The first New Testament in Breton, published in 1827, was translated by the Protestant linguist Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Le Gonidec. In 1866, thanks to the work of a lexicographer and a writer, a version of the Old Testament was added.<\/p>\n<p>A pastor produced a second complete translation of the Bible published in 1897.
