We just saw this with Dai Yongge at Reading Football Club<\/a>, where an owner can cause a club to go close to the brink of administration.<\/p>\n

Unpaid wages <\/a>(to both players and staff), transfer embargo and the club left flailing to stay afloat is all too familiar, so they need a manager who can turn things around and keep the morale up in uncertain times.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday were charged with multiple breaches<\/a> of EFL regulations earlier this month and owner Chansiri offered his ‘sincere apologies’ in a club release shortly after the charges were announced.<\/p>\n

Rohl was then absent for the first day of the season hinting at an imminent move.<\/p>\n

Danish football manager and Sheffield Wednesday’s assistant head coach Henrik Pedersen leads the betting having managed a range of clubs including Vendsyssel FF most recently.<\/p>\n

But that was his last role which ended in 2023 and his win percentage sits in the low with 33.33% for the four senior clubs he’s been in charge of.<\/p>\n

Pedersen has a long history of management though, first getting a role back in 1997 starting his youth manager career with Holstebro BK.<\/p>\n

And of course being involved so closely with the club since October 2023 he could be the best option for Wednesday.<\/p>\n
