with endless tennis lovers vying for a spot on Central Court.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eAJjX_tJCKY\" data-wc=\"57\">As patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the Princess of Wales traditionally presents the trophies to the winners of the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s finals, so is expected to attend the championship \u2013 she<a class=\"hm-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/royalty\/702626\/kate-middleton-first-appearance-wimbledon-amid-recovery\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0even made the effort last year during cancer treatment<\/a>, with the ceremony marking her second major public appearance of 2024.<\/p>\n<p id=\"epHywwoaQi2\" data-wc=\"51\">Alongside Princess Kate, Wimbledon tends to attract a glittering array of royal family members, and another reported to be attending this summer is the Duchess of Gloucester, who is tipped to head to Southwest London twice, on day eight of the tournament, as well as for the semi-finals on July 11.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eJyaSKzEUb1\" data-wc=\"41\">The Duchess, who will sit in the royal box, is Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association,\u00a0so she also tends to make an appearance at the President&#8217;s Lunch in week one of Wimbledon, which makes three trips to the href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/tags\/the-queen\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\" rel=\"noopener\">late Queen Elizabeth II<\/a><strong>&#8216;s<\/strong> cousin, Prince Richard, carries out full-time working duties and supports a number of her own patronages and organisations.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ecxjPkgFbqr1\" data-wc=\"33\">Clearly a much-loved family member, the Duchess <a class=\"hm-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/royalty\/679201\/king-charles-queen-camilla-attend-garter-day-with-duchess-of-gloucester\/\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"article-body-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made\u00a0history in 2024<\/a> as the first non-blood royal, not married to the monarch or the heir, to be made a Royal Lady of the Garter.<\/p>\n<p>Long-time tennis fan<\/p>\n<p id=\"eMnzGF9Gj4MW\" data-wc=\"34\">The Duchess of Gloucester has been the\u00a0Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association for over 25 years and is a regular at Wimbledon \u2013 and is no stranger to stepping onto the courts.<\/p>\n<p> <img
