Kinuthia(Image: Jade Morris)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A murder charge has been dismissed against one of the defendants in the case of Eddie Kinuthia&#8217;s death in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Eddie King Kinuthia was 19 when he was fatally stabbed in Grosvenor Road, near his home in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/st-pauls\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">St Pauls<\/a>, at around 11pm on July 21, 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Bristol Crown <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/courts\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Court<\/a> dismissed a charge of murder against 28-year-old Cartell Williams at a hearing on Tuesday, June 24.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Williams continues to serve a prison term for other offences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/avon-and-somerset-constabulary\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> said the cases against Zachariah Talbert Young, 26, of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/easton\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Easton<\/a>, and Paul Elijah Hayden, 21, of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/hanham\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Hanham<\/a>, are continuing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The pair are remanded in custody and will face trial in October for the alleged <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/crime\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">murder<\/a> of Eddie and the alleged attempted murder of a teenager in a separate incident in February 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">During the hearing, they both denied the charges against them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The police said it continues to work with the Crown Prosecution Service in the meantime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Another defendant, Remi Hitchcock, 29, of Easton, also faces trial in October.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">He had previously appeared in court to deny a charge of assisting an offender, in connection with Eddie\u2019s death, and remains on court bail<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: &#8220;Eddie&#8217;s family are still waiting for justice with dignity and
