Harvey Elliott is looking likely to be the next player on their way out of Liverpool. <\/strong><\/p>\n

At the moment, Caoimhin Kelleher and Nat Phillips are the only players to have exited Anfield<\/a>, with both of them entering the final years of their Liverpool contracts. <\/p>\n

However, with the amount of money that the Reds have already spent on new signings, there\u2019s no hiding from the fact that some of their spending will have to be earned back.<\/p>\n

Others from Arne Slot\u2019s<\/a> squad, such as Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, have also been linked with an exit, but with the performances Elliott has put in during the Under-21s World Cup<\/a>, there won\u2019t be a shortage of suitors.<\/p>\n

Darren Bent thinks Harvey Elliott\u2019s price tag of \u00a340m is a \u2018bargain\u2019<\/p>\n

As mentioned, many teams have thrown their hats into the ring regarding the transfer of Elliott. <\/p>\n

Recently, Wolves have been reported as the most likely with Vitor Pereira seeing the Englishman as his replacement for Matheus Cunha<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Others, such as West Ham United and Aston Villa, also have the 22-year-old on their radar<\/a>. <\/p>\n

And, while speaking live on talkSPORT, Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein were chatting about the future of Elliott, with Bent believing that \u00a340million would be a steal. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just think that, for Harvey Elliott<\/a>, if he is looking to leave and play regular football, at \u00a340million that\u2019s a bargain,\u201d Bent said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a good player.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Although there\u2019s no denying that Elliott is an exceptional talent, it feels harsh for Liverpool<\/a> to keep him around next season. <\/p>\n

The Reds have just brought in Wirtz, and with Dominik Szoboszlai also among their ranks, the young Englishman will hardly have any playing time in his preferred position of attacking midfield. <\/p>\n

Indeed, he could be used as Mohamed Salah\u2019s back-up if Federico Chiesa is sold to Napoli<\/a>, but his skillset is worth far more in central positions than on the wing. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s also clear that if Liverpool want to bring in a new striker or centre back before the season kicks off, some sales will have to be made. <\/p>\n

And, seeing as though Elliott hardly cost the Reds anything to bring in all those years ago, anything the Englishman is sold for will be profit. <\/p>\n
