This week the weather has been all over the place with rainy starts followed by warm, muggy afternoons. But it\u2019s about to get even warmer over the weekend with the Met Office<\/a> forecasting highs of 25C and reaching a toasty 30C on Monday.<\/p>\n

The warm conditions are set to kick on Friday, with a balmy evening ahead, although it will be overcast. On Saturday temperatures will rise throughout the day, reaching 22C by 1pm.<\/p>\n

On Sunday we can expect the sun to finally appear by the afternoon as the mercury is likely to reach 25C.<\/p>\n

By Monday it\u2019s going to be hotter, with temperatures reaching a high of 30C by late afternoon.<\/p>\n

One effective way to cool off in the heat is with a cold, crisp drink in a beer garden. Afterall, fluid intake is important in the heat.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s dozens of beer gardens to choose from across Greater Manchester, from canalside pubs to city centre rooftop bars.<\/p>\n

Last month three beer gardens in the city were named among the top 30 in the country, including The Oast House in Spinningfields. The list was compiled by Big 7 Travel, with Lake View Garden Bar in Bowness-on-Windermere ranking in first place.<\/a><\/p>\n

It may not be a secret beer garden, or one hidden away that only locals know about, but The Oast House is just the place to head to for a post-work pint, celebratory cocktail or refreshing soft drink when you\u2019re in town.<\/p>\n

For starters it\u2019s huge, so there\u2019s plenty of places to grab a seat and soak up the atmosphere of a buzzing beer garden on a summer\u2019s day. It often has live music and regular events too.<\/p>\n

The Oast House boasts a vast drinks selection, as well as its food menu, which includes hanging kebabs, burgers, loaded fries, gyros and fish and chips.<\/p>\n

The Big 7 travel list said: \u201cEnjoyed during the day but especially at night when thousands of fairy lights light up the garden, this city centre pub really knows how to stand out from the crowd: an old country-style tavern placed right in the heart of Manchester\u2019s business district, with its sleek, modern glass buildings, this pub offers an excellent sense of escapism while still being in the convenient location of the city centre.”<\/p>\n
