27.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Emergency services were called to the scene on Hagley Road West just before 2.30pm to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A woman in her 80s was rushed to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p clash on Birmingham bus<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Hagley Road West was blocked while 999 crews were at the scene, but West Midlands Roads confirmed at 4.35pm that the scene was clear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Live traffic system INRIX reporting that queueing traffic remained in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: &#8220;We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian at the junction of White Road and Hagley Road West at 2.20pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;One ambulance, two paramedic officers and the Trust\u2019s Critical Care Car attended the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman, who was treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries before being taken to <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/queen-elizabeth-hospital\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Queen Elizabeth Hospital<\/a>, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Birmingham<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/west-midlands-police\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">West Midlands Police<\/a> spokesperson said: &#8220;We were called to the junction of White Road and Hagley Road West shortly before 2.30pm today after a pedestrian was hit by a car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Officers attended and a woman in her 80s was taken to hospital, though her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The driver of the car involved remained at the scene to help officers with their
