{"id":219533,"date":"2025-06-27T20:46:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-27T20:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/219533\/"},"modified":"2025-06-27T20:46:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-27T20:46:10","slug":"delta-force-is-finally-set-for-free-to-play-return-on-ps5-this-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/219533\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta Force Is Finally Set for Free-to-Play Return on PS5 This August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/delta_force\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Delta Force<\/a> series hasn&#8217;t been seen on PlayStation for about 20 years, but now, developer Team Jade has finally announced the release date of its free-to-play reboot of the shooter franchise.<\/p>\n<p>The simply titled Delta Force launches on PS5 on 19th August 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"youtube-watch\"><a title=\"Watch This Video on YouTube\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MlXOM1OyUHc&amp;t=4502\" class=\"external\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Watch on <strong> YouTube<\/strong> <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"youtube-sub\">Subscribe to <a class=\"external\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/pushsquare?sub_confirmation=1\" target=\"_blank\">Push Square<\/a> on <a class=\"sub-button external\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/pushsquare?sub_confirmation=1\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube158k<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The game is a free-to-play tactical shooter, featuring multiplayer modes as well as a remake of the campaign based on Black Hawk Down.<\/p>\n<p>Warfare is a 32 vs. 32 multiplayer battle featuring land, sea, and air vehicles, while Operations offers an extraction mode as well as objective-based Raid mode.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s received plenty of post-launch support since its launch on PC and mobile, so should be in a pretty good place when it arrives on PS5.<\/p>\n<p>While the reception on Steam is mixed, it has a very consistently high player count, so it seems those that like the game are sticking with it.<\/p>\n<p>A console closed beta test will be taking place in July, with more information to come closer to the time.<\/p>\n<p>Are you interested in the arrival of Delta Force on PS5?
