{"id":219901,"date":"2025-06-28T00:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-28T00:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/219901\/"},"modified":"2025-06-28T00:02:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-28T00:02:09","slug":"brentford-make-demand-of-manchester-united-in-bryan-mbeumo-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/219901\/","title":{"rendered":"Brentford make demand of Manchester United in Bryan Mbeumo deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                            <img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/03a88a60-1842-11ef-b29c-db4f2723162a.jpg\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail size-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" alt=\"Bryan Mbeumo\" decoding=\"async\"  \/>                    <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n                Image Credits: Getty Images            <\/p>\n<p>Manchester United are closing in on a move for Bryan Mbeumo, with the Red Devils still in contact with Brentford over the move.<\/p>\n<p>From the start Brentford have been clear that they see United\u2019s pursuit of Mbeumo very similar to their pursuit of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers which has recently completed.<\/p>\n<p>Both players operate in the second striker or attacking midfield roles, being able to step into the solo striker position or out wider if needed.<\/p>\n<p>As such, the duo are likely to be joining Ruben Amorim\u2019s attacking trio sat behind a striker who United are still in the market for.<\/p>\n<p>However, the pursuit of Cunha was slightly simpler due to the attacker having a release clause in play.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.com\/channel\/0029VaChfxG0rGiSe18EXk04\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE CENTREDEVILS WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT NOW!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This meant that United could bypass negotiating a fee with Wolves, and instead concentrate on how the fee would be paid.<\/p>\n<p>The clubs agreed on a payment plan for the <a href=\"https:\/\/centredevils.co.uk\/transfer-news\/payment-plan-for-matheus-cunha-transfer-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a362.5 million to be paid in three instalments of \u00a320.85 million over two and a half years.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This agreement was put in place to support United by spreading out the financial burden of the purchase at a time when The Red Devils\u2019 purse strings are feeling it most.<\/p>\n<p>However, this won\u2019t be an option for United with Brentford.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.com\/sport\/football\/article\/man-united-bryan-mbeumo-brentford-ctlktbwx9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Times<\/a> has reported that The Bees are looking for a large portion of the Mbeumo fee to be paid up front for the deal to be signed off.<\/p>\n<p>It was already known that Brentford were setting a price tag on Bryan Mbeumo comparable to Cunha\u2019s, so it came as no surprise when <a href=\"https:\/\/centredevils.co.uk\/transfer-news\/brentford-reject-manchester-united-offer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">United\u2019s initial bid of \u00a355 million comprising of a \u00a345 million fee plus \u00a310 million in add-ons, was rejected.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, there are still conversations taking place regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/centredevils.co.uk\/transfer-news\/manchester-united-now-submit-second-bid-for-bryan-mbeumo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the second bid United fielded<\/a> with new reports claiming it stood at \u00a362.5 million, with the base fee being \u00a355 million and \u00a37.5 million in add-ons, to match the fee paid for Cunha.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/whatsapp.com\/channel\/0029VaChfxG0rGiSe18EXk04\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE CENTREDEVILS WHATSAPP GROUP CHAT NOW!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"&#13;
