\n\tThe cast also worked closely with real race car drivers like Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion and the first Black driver to compete in Formula One. Hamilton was also involved with writing the script and producing the film for his Dawn Apollo Films production company.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tSome scenes were filmed at actual Formula One events, such as last year\u2019s British Grand Prix, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix,\u00a0the Rolex 24 at the Daytona sportscar race this January and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tPitt produced \u201cF1\u201d alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman for Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner. Directed by \u201cTop Gun: Maverick\u201d director Joseph Kosinski, the film was also made in collaboration with Formula One. Ehren Kruger, who worked with Kosinski on\u00a0\u201cTop Gun: Maverick,\u201d wrote the screenplay.\u00a0<\/p>\n
