Trams have been haltedSt Werburgh’s Road Metrolink stop(Image: Andrew Stuart)<\/p>\n

No trams are running on a section of the Metrolink’s Manchester Airport<\/a> line tonight.<\/p>\n

There are currently no services between St Werburgh’s Road in Chorlton<\/a> and Sale<\/a> Water Park in Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Bee Network website said this is due to a ‘road traffic accident.’<\/p>\n

They have not specified exactly where the crash has occurred.<\/p>\n

Emergency services are reportedly at the scene.<\/p>\n

It is not yet clear if anyone has been injured.<\/p>\n

Tickets and passes are being accepted on the number 11, 18, 43, 101, 103 and 368 buses.<\/p>\n

“Metrolink<\/a> apologies for any inconvenience” they said.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on the network, trams are currently not running through the Piccadilly Gardens<\/a> stop due to engineering work which is due to finish on Sunday, August 10.<\/p>\n
