The Club World Cup isn\u2019t the only international tournament ongoing this summer with the U21 European Championships<\/a>\u00a0taking place in Slovakia. It\u2019s been an excellent tournament with some of the best young players in the world on display and it will conclude with a fascinating final between England<\/a> and Germany<\/a>. The European powerhouses have both lifted the trophy on three occasions and they’ve already met in the group stages with Germany winning 2-1.<\/p>\n

Germany have been really impressive and they are the only nation to boast a 100% record and they were outstanding in dispatching France<\/a>\u00a03-0 in the semi-final. England were far from convincing in the group stages, progressing with just one win but they\u2019ve defeated Spain<\/a>\u00a0and the Netherlands<\/a>\u00a0in the knockout stages. England had the most valuable squad at the U21 Euros at \u20ac402 million with Germany fourth (\u20ac257m) but who makes the most valuable combined XI from the finalists?<\/p>\n

The combined XI\u2019s total market value would be \u20ac326m with four Germany players and seven from England – Arsenal\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0 Ethan Nwaneri<\/a> is the most valuable player at \u20ac55m. Nwaneri forms a front three with Brajan Gruda<\/a>\u00a0and Nick Woltemade<\/a>. The German striker has enjoyed a fantastic tournament and he\u2019s the top scorer with six goals and he\u2019s been linked with a \u20ac60m move to Bayern Munic<\/a>h. Woltemade and Harvey Elliott will be vying for the player of the tournament award and the Liverpool star forms a midfield trio with Elliott Anderson<\/a>\u00a0and Archie Gray<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Tottenham star Gray isn\u2019t a starter for England at the tournament, however, with Lee Carsley preferring to play Bournemouth\u2019s Alex Scott<\/a>\u00a0alongside Anderson. Frankfurt\u2019s Nathaniel Brown<\/a>\u00a0is Germany\u2019s sole representative in the back four with Jarrel Quansah<\/a>\u00a0also featuring. Quansah is expected to complete a \u20ac41m move to Bayer Leverkusen<\/a>\u00a0from Liverpool after the tournament.
