Tonight’s Married at First Sight Australia<\/a> saw one controversial couple quit the experiment and leave without saying goodbye. <\/p>\n

Last week, bride Lauren was at the centre of a row <\/a>after she branded her fellow couples “absolute feral people” and “bogans”. <\/p>\n

Following last week’s explosive dinner party<\/a>, which Lauren and Clint failed to attend, the couple turned up to the commitment ceremony late. <\/p>\n

When the other couples questioned Lauren and Clint, Lauren said they should’ve brought “zoo feeding pallets to keep them quiet”.<\/p>\n

Describing the rest of the couples, Lauren said they are “boganic” and display “psycho behaviour” in social situations, which prompted a response from relationship expert John Aiken.<\/p>\n

He said: “You talk as though you’re above them and they’re below you. Do you think you’re better than them?”<\/p>\n

“I do feel like my behaviour is better,” Lauren replied. <\/p>\n

Asked by John why the group has turned on her, Lauren said she has a “resting bitch face”, adding: “It’s really just the case that I am shy, I am very closed off to begin with.”<\/p>\n

“I think you’re giving yourself a bit too much credit here, personality-wise,” relationship expert Mel Schilling said, adding: “There is a clear difference between being shy or being rude or being disrespectful.”<\/p>\n

Calling Lauren passive aggressive and saying she looks down on the group, Mel said: “As a mature adult, one of your jobs is to take accountability for what you do and say.” <\/p>\n

After Alessandra quizzed the couple on where their relationship was at, Clint said it felt more like a friendship and the couple both chose to ‘leave’ the experiment. <\/p>\n

On her board, Lauren delivered one final blow, writing: “Leave-ing the zoo.”<\/p>\n

John called her comments “sarcastic and condescending” and the couple exited the commitment ceremony immediately without saying goodbye to the other couples. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Jamie and Carina made amends following their fight at the dinner party. After unpacking her behaviour, Jamie said: “I feel embarrassed and ashamed. I feel like I’ve let Dave down, like I’ve let myself down.”<\/p>\n

She continued: “Because I just couldn’t process the hurt in a healthy way, it came out in a really nasty way towards other people.”<\/p>\n

Turning to Carina, she said: “The things I did say to you were completely unacceptable, my behaviour was unacceptable. I’m sorry. How I spoke to you, how I conducted myself. I’m sorry I made you feel stupid, less than, unimportant or small.”<\/p>\n

“That is my behaviour and I was wrong and I’m sorry,” she added and Carina accepted her apology. <\/p>\n
