Former Little Mix singer Jade brought out a special guest at her Glastonbury performance, while giving a nod to the city of Liverpool. The now-solo artist took over the Woodsies stage<\/a> wearing a white t-shirt and green bejewelled jorts.<\/p>\n

She was one of the many entertainers taking to that particular stage today, with performances still to come from Scissor Sisters and Tom Odell<\/a> later this evening, Saturday, June 28. Towards the end of her 45-minute performance, the 32-year-old took a moment to thank the members of the band with whom she rose to fame on the X-Factor.<\/p>\n

Following this, Jade said in “true Glastonbury style”, that she knew she needed to bring out a special guest to perform with her.<\/p>\n

The star, from Newcastle, then brought out the Australian electropop band, Confidence Man. However, before doing so, the singer put on a Scouse accent and said: “Surprise, Surprise”, a reference synonymous with the late Cilla Black.<\/p>\n

The two performed their song Gossip together. Jade finished her set by tearfully saying: “This has been one of the best days of my life. I can’t believe this has happened, and I wanted to say thank you so much.<\/p>\n

“I was worried no one would be in the tent watching me, but it’s a full house.” Her final song was Angel of My Dreams.<\/p>\n

Her performance came after an issue was sent to thousands of festival goers. Today, Saturday, June 28, will see the likes of Charli XCX<\/a>, The Script, Jade, RAYE and Kaiser Chiefs take to various stages for the penultimate day of the five-day event at Worthy Farm.<\/p>\n

With such huge names in attendance year in and year out, it\u2019s easy to see why so many make the trek to the festival annually.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, sometimes this can cause issues, especially when it comes to what stage the entertainer is on and the size that comes with it.<\/p>\n

In light of this, an official update in the Glastonbury app has issued overcrowding warnings<\/a> for several acts tonight.<\/p>\n

These include Kate Nash at 9pm on the Leftfield stage, Scissor Sisters at 10.30pm on the Woodsies stage and Charli XCX at the same time on the Other Stage.<\/p>\n
