We are here<\/p>\n
Fire and waves<\/p>\n
and football<\/p>\n
forged<\/p>\n
this mountain peak<\/p>\n
Y daith did not begin with four Cymru goals<\/p>\n
it began when these menywod hanesyddol were<\/p>\n
girls in baggy kits<\/p>\n
who dared kick a ball for the first time<\/p>\n
and it began with our first steps of 1973<\/p>\n
and it began with the rebel girls of P.E.<\/p>\n
To the child she was<\/p>\n
Rhiannon says believe<\/p>\n
We have scaled these ancient rocks<\/p>\n
this untread path<\/p>\n
wrote our own map<\/p>\n
the wind will carry through generations<\/p>\n
Each goal a summit step<\/p>\n
gave our bodies for the apex<\/p>\n
hearts pounding under red shirts<\/p>\n
finding infinity in the embers of 90 minutes<\/p>\n
to be the first to stand on mountaintop<\/p>\n
Do not measure us in anything<\/p>\n
but each step we have taken in studded boots<\/p>\n
