Social media users have shared a ‘foolproof’ hack for nailing the ‘perfect candid picture’ – but prepare to look absolutely ridiculous in public while doing it.<\/p>\n

In an attempts to capture the perfect seemingly un-posed, relaxed snap, many have started to gallop while giggling up and down the road.<\/p>\n

While the subjects of the image are prancing, someone else films them, with the theory being that freeze-framing any part of the footage will result in an aesthetically pleasing pose.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some social media users have noted that using this system means that the photos are not candid per se.<\/p>\n

However, others have simply admired how effective the method is, with some impressed by how well images can turn out when taken this way.<\/p>\n

One video clip shared by family TikTok<\/a>\u00a0channel @thefamileigh showed the father and his two sons laughing as they cantered casually down a path while being filmed.<\/p>\n

A crucial part of the system requires that the photo subjects enjoy themselves while posing.<\/p>\n

This often results in those in the photo throwing back their heads in joy, open-mouthed in laughter.<\/p>\n

Many who commented on a video showing the technique on TikTok were surprised by how effective it is<\/p>\n

Commenting on the\u00a0@thefamileigh video, and resulting snaps, many were surprised by how well the technique worked.<\/p>\n

One said: ‘It’s funny cause I paused and played through the entire video and saw one great shot after another.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I actually saw all the candid pictures by pausing at random,’ added another.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A further viewer wrote: ‘I paused a dozen random spots and all were perfect…..’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I paused it several times and each time it was a great snapshot,’ another noted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A further TikTok user said: ‘I tried to pause the vid a few times and they actually turned out good hahaha.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a similar vein, another wrote: ‘Wait they came out so good though.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘These are freaking hysterical,’ added another. ‘I’m gonna see if my kids will do it. I’s frame them in a sequence.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Many of the video’s viewers were impressed by the system, and agreed that the snaps came out well<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, another TikTok creator known as\u00a0@air.fryer.messiah posted her own video featuring the viral trick.<\/p>\n

As she linked her arms with a friend, the two women laughed as they cantered for while someone filmed them.<\/p>\n

Again, social media users were impressed with the results.<\/p>\n

One said: ‘I love every video I see of this trend.’<\/p>\n

In a similar vein, another added an almost identical view.<\/p>\n

They wrote: ‘Loving this trend.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

A further TikTok user asked: ‘How does it work every time?’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Would have come out better with a professional camera but looks pretty good,’ wrote another.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another TikTok user revealed that when they used the hack, they were also able to create a pleasing image<\/p>\n

As with other photos taken using this hack, the image was praised by many TikTok commentators<\/p>\n

And a further TikTok user wrote: ‘Super cute and beautiful photo, made me smile.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hack has become so popular, that even workers at a Waitrose supermarket used it to try and take their own image.<\/p>\n

A clip, posted on the upmarket supermarket’s TikTok channel, featured two men.<\/p>\n

They laughed widely as they linked arms, and cantered through the aisles in one of the stores.<\/p>\n

Their video featured a caption, which was superimposed on top of the moving video.<\/p>\n
