The rooftop level of a multi-storey car park in Birmingham city centre was on fire tonight (Saturday June 28).<\/p>\n
Firefighters remain at the scene in Tennant Street, Birmingham<\/a>, near Broad Street<\/a>, as crews make sure the fire hasn’t spread.<\/p>\n Several nearby roads have been closed off, including Tennant Street and Bishop Gate Street.<\/p>\n Read more <\/strong>Two West Midland postcodes hit by 24-hour water outage as Severn Trent issues apology<\/a><\/p>\n Five fire engines and a hydraulic aerial platform were sent to the car park just after 9pm tonight, along with officers from West Midlands Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n No-one has been injured and the cause of the fire has not yet been established.<\/p>\n A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman said: “We were called at 9.06pm on Saturday 28 June, to reports of a fire involving the top level of a six-storey multi-storey car park on Tennant Street, Birmingham.<\/p>\n We need to talk about knife crime<\/p>\n Kids aged 12 are being killed here in Birmingham.
