There’s disruption ahead for drivers travelling on the M4 from this weekend as resurfacing work are carried out. People who use the road in Cardiff<\/a> will be affected by the disruption \u2013 which will continue into next mooth.<\/p>\n The works will take place at M4 westbound from junction 30 Cardiff Gate to junction 32 Coryton. The road will be closed, with diversions in place, from 8pm until 6am.<\/p>\n The works began on June 24 and will continue until July 15.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, between junctions 37 and 38 near Pyle, major roadworks<\/a> are to be carried out to ensure the safety and long-term resilience of the motorway.<\/p>\n The works will take place for six months and began on Monday, June 9.<\/p>\n The work involves refurbishment to five bridges on this stretch of the M4.<\/p>\n It is being described as “essential to maintain safety and prevent deterioration of the road.”<\/p>\n The motorway is remaining open with two running lanes in both directions for the duration of the works.<\/p>\n Closures are limited to overnight.<\/p>\n Temporary speed limits are being implemented to ensure driver and worker safety.<\/p>\n In England, there’s going to be carriageway and lane closures for resurfacing work at M4 eastbound junction 13 to 12 from June 30 until July 1.<\/p>\n The works will be carried out between 9pm and 6am.<\/p>\n And there’s going to be an exit slip road closure at M4 eastbound junction 10 from June 30 until July 1.<\/p>\n The works will be carried out from 11pm until 6am.<\/p>\n Get daily breaking news<\/strong> updates on your phone by joining our WhatsApp community here<\/a>.
