Activity in the three to five range is considered moderate, meaning the auroras will move further from the poles with displays that can be &#8220;quite pleasing to look at&#8221; from Earth.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> Northernmost areas across the United States are likely to have the best chances at spotting the colorful display, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)&#8217;s Space Weather Prediction Center&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swpc.noaa.gov\/products\/aurora-viewline-tonight-and-tomorrow-night-experimental\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aurora view line<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> Earlier this week, the northern lights were forecast for a three-day stretch, starting on Monday, June 23, and lasting through Wednesday, June 25.
