Nightmare for the over one million of you who wishlisted #ResidentEvilRequiem! Thank you! pic.twitter.com/frEzJWKVzA— Resident Evil (@RE_Games) June 23, 2025

But up until last April, the PS Store’s wishlist utility was needlessly restrictive, preventing you from adding more than 100 games.

However, in a stealth update, the manufacturer improved the capacity of this feature, increasing the cap up to almost 200 games, per our testing.

But for anyone exceeding the original limit, the feature has been broken for some time now. Every time we try to load our wishlist on the console itself, we’re greeted with a list of blank tiles which never properly load – and we’re not alone.

To be clear, the wishlist still works as intended on the web-based store and in the mobile app, but if you’re trying to shop through your system and you’ve exceeded the limit, then you’re out of luck – unless you use the Welcome hub widget, which inexplicably still works.

It’s not clear when – or, indeed, if – this feature will ever be fixed, but seeing as Sony puts so much emphasis on the wishlist, it’s a shame it’s so functionally so poor.

Have you been hit by this error? What are you feelings on the current state of the PS Store, and the slow pace at which Sony is iterating on it?
